2025 unused vacation information
1-6-2026
For those employees who had a remaining vacation balance in 2025 and wish to be paid out for those balances, you must fill out a form that request to do so by January 15th, 2026 (see form below). If you do not do this your remaining balance will automatically roll over up to 80 hours with any remainder paying out on or before February 15,2026.
Timelines
1) All new vacation for 2026 has been loaded and available to use starting January 5th, 2026.
2) Carryover vacation up to 80 hours will not be available to use until it is loaded in the system early February 2026.
3) UAW Holiday shutdown deferred days do not figure into the rollover and should be available to use now.
4) Unused vacation payout requested or over the 80-hour limit to carryover will be paid out contractually on or before February 15,2026
All vacation payout request must go through Jamie Atwell in HR. If you need any help please see your Union representation.
